Challenge: New customers were under-utilizing our powerful suite of legal tech products, leading to low initial engagement. We needed a clear, scalable solution to increase product adoption, accelerate customer time-to-value, and provide a consistent onboarding experience across our global markets.
Solution: I designed a comprehensive onboarding ecosystem, anchored by a visual "Onboarding Journey" map. I created multiple versions of this map tailored to different product bundles and global regions (including a full French translation for Canada). This journey guided users to key resources, including a "A Day in the Life" content series I developed, which used short videos and one-page guides to show attorneys how to integrate our products into their actual daily workflows.
Impact & Growth: This new system drove a major, measurable increase in Monthly Active Users (MAU) and a significant rise in live training attendance. The project was successfully rolled out across four international regions and became the standard for customer onboarding. It proved the value of combining a structured learning path with relatable, narrative-based content to drive product adoption at scale.
Challenge: Our company needed to create a unique and memorable event to attract attendees. The goal was to build a strong brand identity for a new professional event, "CoCounsel Circle," and generate excitement to ensure a successful launch.
Solution: I took the lead in designing and developing all event materials, creating a cohesive brand experience from start to finish. I designed the event logo, as well as the signage, name badges, and swag materials (like stickers) that created a professional and unified aesthetic. To attract and engage potential attendees, I produced a hype video that highlighted the event's value and unique atmosphere.
Growth: This project allowed me to expand my skills in event branding and marketing. I gained hands-on experience in creating a brand from scratch, developing a full suite of materials, and producing a promotional video to drive attendance. I also learned how to translate a brand's vision into tangible, engaging assets that successfully attract a target audience.
Challenge: Texas Discovery Gardens needed a way to teach residents of Dallas about integrated pest management in an engaging, eco-friendly way. The goal was to provide an alternative to harmful pesticides and educate gardeners on how to make informed decisions for a healthier ecosystem.
Solution: I developed a scenario-based eLearning course using Articulate Storyline that allowed learners to safely experiment with different gardening methods. The course focused on the environmental impact of various choices, with a virtual Monarch butterfly mentor providing guidance and supplementary information.
To make the learning interactive and enjoyable, I incorporated light gamification. Learners gathered vegetables in a harvest basket, and the final goal was to collect a full wheelbarrow of fresh, organic produce, which served as a satisfying culmination of their learning. I also created a storyboard and translated the script into Spanish to ensure the course was accessible to a wider audience in the Dallas area.
Growth: This project honed my skills in instructional design and eLearning development. I gained valuable experience creating a user-friendly and engaging learning experience from start to finish, from collaborating with a subject matter expert to translating the script for diverse audiences. Additionally, it expanded my expertise in using tools like Articulate Storyline, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe XD to design and develop a cohesive and impactful educational program.
Challenge: Dallas College needed to equip all employees with data literacy skills to foster a data-driven culture and improve organizational decision-making. The challenge was to create a comprehensive and engaging eLearning program that could effectively empower employees with varying levels of experience.
Solution: I played a key role in developing and strategically rolling out a new eLearning program using Articulate Rise & Storyline. I was involved from the ground up, helping to develop the curriculum and create a memorable brand identity for the program, including a logo and style guide. I designed interactive course modules, produced instructional videos with Vyond and Camtasia, and created custom infographics to simplify complex concepts. The course was built around realistic scenarios to help employees understand the impact of data on their daily work and practice key skills in a safe environment.
Growth: This project significantly advanced my skills in instructional design and eLearning development. I gained valuable experience in curriculum development, strategic program rollout, and creating a cohesive brand identity for a new educational initiative. My proficiency in a wide range of tools, including Articulate Rise, Vyond, and Adobe Illustrator, deepened as I crafted a comprehensive and visually appealing learning experience that directly addressed the organization's strategic goals.
This project for Articulate's weekly challenge focused on blending storytelling with technical skills in Articulate Storyline. I created a parody course on faking vacation photos, utilizing a "reveal" slider and a drag-and-drop interaction to manage user progression. This allowed me to broaden my technical skill set in Storyline
I created a calming cinemagraph for this week's challenge with a firefly using Storyline's motion paths and subtle sound effects. This served as an invaluable introduction to preparing illustrations for use in After Effects and broadened my technical skills in animation.
